Helping You Build a Strong Foundation Through Housing and Employment
At GCS, our Foundational Community Support (FCS) program is designed to help individuals overcome barriers to stability by securing safe housing and meaningful employment. Whether you're facing challenges related to mental health, addiction recovery, homelessness, or reentry after incarceration, we're here to support you every step of the way.
Housing Assistance
Safe, Stable Housing is the First Step
We assist clients in finding and securing housing that meets their unique needs. Our housing services include:
Low-income and subsidized housing options
Housing for individuals with disabilities and senior citizens
Rental assistance and housing voucher programs
Emergency hotel and shelter placements
Placement in rehabilitation facilities and mental health housing programs
We’ve built trusted relationships with landlords who are open to renting to individuals with no rental history, those recovering from addiction, or those reentering the community after incarceration.
Employment Support
Helping You Not Just Find a Job—But Keep It
Our employment services are hands-on and personalized. We help clients:
Build a professional résumé
Search and apply for jobs
Communicate directly with employers on their behalf
Learn the skills needed to maintain long-term employment
We’ve partnered with employers who are open to second-chance hiring, regardless of a client’s background or offense level. Our goal is to remove the barriers and help you thrive.
A Network That Works for You
What sets FCS apart is our strong network of landlords and employers who believe in giving people a second chance. Our team works tirelessly to build and maintain these relationships—so you can start fresh with the support you deserve.
